Four services under one agreement
Together they make up managed IT. You can start with one, such as backup or security, and add the rest later.
IT Support
Phone, email and portal help for every employee, with monitoring, patch management and vendor wrangling included.

MFA, sign-in rules, email filtering and monitored endpoint protection, plus a payment policy that stops invoice fraud.

Microsoft 365 detailsBackup & Disaster Recovery
Backups of servers, PCs and Microsoft 365 that are checked every business day and test-restored, with a written recovery plan.
How recovery worksWhat we hear from Duluth and Suwanee businesses
The details vary by industry, but the same handful of complaints comes up again and again in Gwinnett offices.
The warehouse Wi-Fi gives out
Scanners drop off in the back aisles, label printers stall during the afternoon rush, and the internet company, the installer and the software vendor each say it's someone else's problem.
Nobody owns the accounts
Former staff still have logins. Seasonal workers share one password for the shipping system. The admin account for Microsoft 365 belongs to someone who left two years ago.
Payment emails are hard to judge
Invoices and wire requests arrive overnight from suppliers in other time zones. One convincing message with new bank details could cost more than a year of IT support.
The suite came with the old wiring
You moved into an office near Gwinnett Place or Satellite Boulevard and inherited a closet of unlabeled cables, a dusty switch and an internet circuit nobody can explain.
How we take over your IT
A typical office of 10 to 100 staff is fully onboarded within a few weeks. Sites with a warehouse, or several buildings, need a bit more time.
Listen
A call with the owner or manager about staff, sites, key software, busy seasons and what keeps going wrong.
Inspect
An on-site visit and read-only review of the network, devices, Microsoft 365 and backups, including the warehouse floor if you have one.
Take over
We collect passwords and records, install monitoring agents, close the urgent gaps and hand staff a single phone number and inbox for help.
Run and review
Everyday support and upkeep, plus a meeting each quarter covering tickets, older hardware and next year's spending.
The Duluth and Suwanee business mix, and what it asks of IT
Duluth sits near the middle of Gwinnett County, which the Census Bureau estimated at just over one million residents in mid-2024. The city counted 31,873 people in the 2020 census, and Suwanee, a few exits up I-85, counted 20,786. Those totals undersell how much business happens here. The 2023 ZIP Code Business Patterns show about 3,300 employer establishments in Duluth's 30096 ZIP and about 3,800 in Suwanee's 30024. Close to 1,500 of them employ between 10 and 249 people. That is the size where a shared admin password and a part-time helper stop being enough.
Who does business here
The mix is unusual for a suburb. Gwinnett's wholesale trade employers had about 38,600 workers in 2023, more than the county's manufacturers, and another 16,500 people worked in transportation and warehousing. Many of those sites sit along I-85 and Satellite Boulevard, in buildings where a small office fronts a large warehouse. Professional services come next in Duluth and Suwanee, with about 1,100 firms across the two ZIP codes, followed by more than 700 medical, dental and other health care establishments. Duluth's 30096 ZIP alone has about 470 restaurants and other food service businesses.
Pleasant Hill Road and the Korean-American business community
Pleasant Hill Road, running from the Gwinnett Place area toward Duluth, is widely described as the commercial heart of metro Atlanta's Korean-American community. Banks, clinics, CPA and law offices, travel agencies, grocers and restaurants serve customers in Korean and English, often in the same hour. That shapes the IT. Staff may need Korean keyboard input and fonts on their PCs, bilingual email signatures and websites, and software from vendors in Korea as well as the U.S. Partners in Seoul are 13 or 14 hours ahead, so invoices and payment requests often land overnight. We write security rules around those facts. An owner who travels to Korea can sign in from there, while the same sign-in for anyone else is blocked.
Older corridors, new plans
The area around Gwinnett Place is changing. The county's redevelopment agency has bought large parts of the former Gwinnett Place Mall since 2021 for a long-term mixed-use project. Office parks nearby, off Pleasant Hill Road and Satellite Boulevard, often date from the 1980s and 1990s, and the cabling, closets and internet service may date from the first tenant. To the east, Gas South District on Sugarloaf Parkway anchors a busy stretch of hotels and offices. In Suwanee, newer office parks along Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard sit within a short drive of the town center.
What this means for your IT
A Duluth business often runs three operations under one roof: an office, a warehouse or shop floor, and people on the road. Each needs something different. Office PCs need patching and email protection. Scanners, label printers and Wi-Fi need to last a full shift. Drivers and sales staff need managed phones and laptops even though they rarely come inside. We start with an assessment so the plan fits the business you actually run.
Three common ways Gwinnett businesses handle IT
Each can work at a certain size. The question is whether it still fits yours.
| Office manager handles it | Call-when-broken tech | Sentry Cloud IT | |
|---|---|---|---|
| First call for help | A coworker who is good with computers | A technician who may be booked for days | A help desk with your documentation in front of them |
| Warehouse and shop-floor devices | Restarted until they work | Fixed on the visit, then forgotten | Documented, on their own network and monitored |
| Payment and email fraud | Staff judgment alone | Rarely discussed | MFA, sign-in rules, email filtering and a written payment policy |
| Backups | An external drive, maybe | Installed once | Checked every business day and test-restored |
| How you're billed | Hidden in lost hours | By the hour, after the fact | A fixed monthly price agreed in advance |
| Looking ahead | When something breaks | When something breaks | A quarterly plan and yearly budget |
Duluth, Suwanee and the Gwinnett towns around them
Sentry Cloud IT's engineers are based in Alpharetta, roughly 30 minutes from downtown Duluth by GA-120 through Johns Creek, or by McGinnis Ferry Road into Suwanee. We cover the Pleasant Hill Road and Gwinnett Place corridor, Satellite Boulevard, Sugarloaf Parkway and the Gas South District area, and nearby Norcross, Peachtree Corners and Lawrenceville. Most support is remote; on-site visits are booked when equipment or cabling needs hands.

Questions Duluth businesses ask first
Are you located in Duluth?
No. Our office is in Alpharetta, about half an hour away. Engineers come out to Duluth and Suwanee when hands are needed, and the bulk of requests are solved over a remote session.
Can you support a warehouse as well as the office?
Yes. We look after warehouse Wi-Fi, scanners, label printers and the PCs that run shipping or inventory software, and we schedule changes around your shifts.
We work in Korean and English. Is that a problem?
Not at all. We set up Korean language support on PCs, Microsoft 365 and printers. Our help desk works in English, so we agree on a contact person on your side during the assessment.
How do you price managed IT?
After the assessment, we put a fixed monthly figure in writing, worked out from your headcount, device count and chosen services. Projects such as office moves are quoted separately before work begins.
Get a clear picture of your IT before something breaks
We review your help desk setup, defenses, Microsoft 365 tenant and backup jobs. Expect roughly an hour of interviews with your people, and a written report you can keep even if we never work together.
